This 30 grain HG Raptor  designed for .22 Caliber handguns is an excellent choice for personal protection. This tipped bullet and also makes for a great, high-velocity varmint hunting option for the .22 Hornet, .223, and other .22 Caliber rifles with muzzle velocities over 2600 fps. After 1.5 – 2″ of penetration six blades are engineered to shear off and radiate out in a star pattern while the Blunt Trauma BaseTM continues to penetrate 14 – 16″ in ballistic gel. This action greatly increases trauma and stopping power.
